The band have been praised being one of the next heavy Metalcore acts in Europe, putting Scandinavia once again on the map in a struggling part of the music scene. Already been touring UK and Europe multiple times on this first record, both with headline tours and as main support for the Japanese critical acclaimed boys in Crystal Lake in October 2017, who in 2018 also invited the band to take part of their own True North Festival in Tokyo. During the band’s stay in Japan they also toured in Sendai, Osaka, Nagoya and played another show in Tokyo in September -18.

In 2019 Aviana came back strong when releasing single ‘Heavy Feather’ and announced signing to German Metal label Arising Empire (Nuclear Blast) at the same time their new vocalist Joel Holmqvist (ex. Oceans Red, Walking With Strangers) was revealed.
Since then, the band have been seen touring in Europe with bands like The Word Alive, Make Them Suffer, Of Virtue and Adept.

How did you guys formulate your sound, and what are your influences as a band?
We wanted to write this album in a more aggressive way than the last album. Working more with NU-metal material than Djent. Influence wise we’re all coming from different backgrounds, so it’s really mixed.

On your latest album, what is your fav songs on that album?
My worst enemy, Look Away and More Than A Name

What is your favorite song to play live at your shows?
My Worst enemy is for sure the all time favorite. The energy we see from the crowd when playing that song is unreal.

Where does your inspiration for your lyrics come from?
This record has been very personal to all of us lyric wise. It’s about our journeys through life and thoughts.

What is happening ahead for you guys and future plans as a band?
Tours, tours and tours. 2020 will be our hardest working year yet. And at some point halfway through we’ll hide away in a studio and start recording album nr.3

Who do you want to thank for supporting you guys thus far?
Every single one who’s been listening to our music, sharing it and to everyone who comes to our shows. Without our fans we’re nothing. So a big thank you to all of you!
